Chair's Message

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Orléans Chamber of Commerce website. As you browse around, I’m sure you will find plenty of reasons to return—and plenty of reasons to join our Chamber as so many more have over the past year.

In fact, it is an exciting time and the future looks very bright for the Chamber. We have an active board of directors with many talents and expertise to guide the chamber through this very dynamic period. Increased member benefits, improved visibility in the community, more events for members all have contributed to a significant jump in membership, a trend we will work hard to continue.

More members means, of course, that we have the resources to provide even more and better benefits, not the least of which is a continued ability to represent the interests of Orléans businesses at every level of government. Whether it’s the development of the Orléans Industrial Park, the protection of employment lands or the general economic development of our community, your Chamber, more than ever, is making its voice heard on your behalf.

Our mission is simple: The Chamber is here to promote the economic development of our community and to deliver benefits to our members that will help them achieve even greater success.

I encourage you to take a good look at the benefits and member discount pages of our website and take advantage of the programs and services offered by the Chamber and businesses of your community. From discounts on merchant services to group insurance (even if you are the sole employee), they are worth a closer look.

I encourage you, as well, to come out to meet us, make new friends and get valuable information at our breakfast networking and information meetings, and our luncheon speakers’ series.

Since joining the Chamber I have saved money, made great friends, and have met truly wonderful business people in all walks of life.

If you haven’t already, won’t you join us?

Marc Thibault
