Executive Director

ORLEANS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is seeking an Executive Director.  This part-time position requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional communication skills and strong administrative background and computer knowledge.

We need someone to help SUPPORT businesses in our region, INCREASE & RETAIN membership, create NETWORKING opportunities for our members, DEVELOP programs to help GROW local business and MANAGE the Chamber office. We need someone who can be the PUBLIC FACE of our Chamber.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and coordination of all organizational activities and direct planning, to carry out Chamber objectives and policy on a day to day basis
  • Liaising with members to ensure they are deriving maximum benefit from their Chamber membership
  • Attending all Board of Directors and Committee meetings as well as Chamber events
  • Overseeing website development, upkeep and redevelopment (including advertising sales)
  • Acting as an advocate for the Chamber and its programs in the community
  • Experience working with a membership driven organization and bilingualism would be strong assets.
