Chamber of Commerce.

Marc
Thibault, Chair
Marc is fully bilingual and the owner of a successful accounting
and tax preparation business. Before choosing to settle in
Orléans, Marc was an Income Tax Auditor and held various
financial, analytical and management roles and with BP Canada
Inc. and Petro Canada. Today, Marc plays an instrumental role
in furthering the educational and personal growth of young
adults by teaching various accounting courses part-time at
Algonquin College along with operating his practice. |

Geraldine
Dixon, Vice-Chair
Geraldine owns and operates Access Print Imaging, a large
format printing company. As a community oriented person, Geraldine
has sat on several volunteer committees and has a passion
for helping the kids of our community. Prior to opening her
Orleans business, Geraldine has spent many years in the medical
and food laboratory fields. As a member of the Orleans Chamber,
Geraldine brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the committee.

Dan Levesque, Director
A family man first and foremost, Dan is dedicated to his clients and his community. Through 15 years of building client relationships through hard work, integrity and professionalism, he understands what clients are looking for." My job is to protect my clients and the ones they love, and help them achieve their financial goals and objectives". Dan is a Certified Financial Planner and a member of the million dollar round table. Backed by a team of professionals and a wealth of knowledge to draw from, Dan is definitely someone you can trust to be there for you. |

Deborah
O’Connor, Director
Ms. O’Connor was born and raised in Ottawa. She lived
in the east end for over 20 years before moving to Toronto
to obtain her law degree. She practiced law in Toronto before
returning to Ottawa in July 2005 to join the law firm of Dust
Evans. Ms. O’Connor is an active supporter of the Women’s
Business Connection in Orléans and a member of the
Board of Directors of the Orléans Youth Resource Centre.

Hesam
Mahdavi, Director
Hesam Mahdavi, graduated in 2005 from University of Ottawa,
Electrical Engineering. During his university period he established
a company named Mathematics Success Tutoring Organization
(MSTO), which at it’s peak employed 40 tutors and enrolled
125 students. After graduating from the University of Ottawa
Hesam turned MSTO to a non-profit organization to help the
under privileged kids with their school work. Since 2005 he
has been working at Zodiac Light Waves Inc. as a partner and
Chief Technology Officer. In the past two years he has introduced
numerous security solutions for businesses and care giving
facilities. In 2007 he started Pikaia System Inc. with two
other partners to provide anti-piracy solution to motion picture
association of United States of America. Hesam has been an
active member of the Chamber of Commerce since 2007. |

Jacques S. Mailloux, Director
A graduate of the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College, Jacques owns and operates Storm Micro Systems, a computer sales and service company established in Orléans in 1995. The company is an authorized reseller of major brands like HP, Sony, and Lenovo among others. Storm also offers custom-built systems to meet specialized requirements not offered in large retail stores. This is Jacques’ second term on the OCC Board of Directors. Jacques is also Past President of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) and a founding member of the Orléans Photo Club, where he created a special community program entitled “Artworks in the Community”. Participating members loan selections of their best photographs to local businesses for public display. |

Michelle
Martin CA, CPA, Director
Michelle is the sole proprietor of Michelle Martin Chartered
Accountant, which offers accounting and tax services to small
businesses. The services range from compilation of financial
statements or forecasts to personal and corporate tax returns.
Prior to starting her family, she worked in the finance organization
of Cisco Systems and Komag Inc. She also worked as an Internal
Auditor for Canadian Pacific and as a auditor for Price Waterhouse
in Montreal

David
Chadala, Director
Dave has been a resident of Orleans for 25 years, presently
living in Fallingbrook with his four children. A graduate
of Carleton University and Algonquin College, Dave enjoyed
a successful career in management with Shoppers Drug Mart.
Dave is currently employed by the Ottawa Senators where he
works closely with the business community forming successful
partnerships. |

Donna
Roney, Director
Originally from Montreal, Donna is a graduate of Carleton University. After working for IBM in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto, she returned to Ottawa and has lived in Orléans with her family since 1991. She is an Account Executive with Coyle Publishing (Fifty-Five Plus magazine and Due West and Due East magazines). Prior to joining Coyle Publishing she was an Advertising Consultant with Transcontinental Weeklies (Orléans Star and Ottawa At Home) and the Orléans Cumberland Phone Book. Her first 5 years in Orléans she was the Coordinator of Volunteers for the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre and Kids On The Block puppet troupe. Donna is a past-president of the WBC (Women’s Business Connections) and a past board member of Orléans Little League Baseball. |

Peter
Stewart, Executive Director
Peter brings a wealth of experience to the position of Executive
Director. Not only has he been a resident of Orléans
for 15 years and a member of the Orléans business community
for almost as long, but he has also previously served on the
Chamber’s board of directors including a time as Vice
President. Peter was instrumental in the development of the
Heart of Orléans Business Improvement Area that is
now overseeing the enhancement of St. Joseph Blvd. Prior to
taking this position, Peter owned a Mail Boxes Etc. franchise
for over a decade before becoming Eastern Ontario Area Manager
for Mail Boxes Etc. and The UPS Store. |
